Oxo Good Grips 5-Piece Seafood Set customer reviews: Pricey, but good This set is expensive. Many sets are available for half or less. That's the reason for only 4 stars. I have not compared the quality of the cheaper sets. We have two and have given 2-3 as gifts. Everyone loves them. They are solid and sturdy. Just the right weight. So far, no rusting or chipping. They feel good and are easy to use. Works but not great The cracker is actually pretty nice, probably 4-star maybe 5. But the forks are mediocre at best, think 2-star. They are surprisingly bulky and have short tines so getting into the good meat is difficult -- spoon end is useless. Okay for the casual user but if you really are into crab and lobster, look for better options. Seafood set The perfect set. The handles provide great grip and comfort. The spoon/forks work well but not as well as expected. Overall a great buy I would recommend. Functional and Stylish! I cook a lot of Alaskan King Crab Legs so was looking for something to give my hands a break. First of all, these look great, sleek silver with black rubber grips. The crackers feel solid in the hand and are easy to grip. They worked well in breaking up different sized crab legs. The little scoopers make it convenient to get the meat out of the hard to reach areas. I would have to concur with an earlier reviewer that the package is a big pain to open. I literally had to use a big cutting knife to get everything out. Once you get past that though, nothing but quality. A must-have for the seafood lover... Like most Oxo products, this seafood set is of excellent quality. It also turns out to be very handy when you need to deal with claws: first you crack them and then you extract the juicy meat with the tiny forks, which have two different tips: a fork and a spatula. And it also handles the dishwasher very well.
