Within four months the rivets had corroded in all of the knives but I decided to live with it. After 10 months one side of the handle separated from the rivets in one of the knives and it just fell apart. I am sending the whole set back to Henckels immediately. Great bargain I bought these for my husband, a gourmet chef. He loves them. They are high quality and the price is right. Great steak knives! Henckels is a great brand & has consistently great products. We own a set of Henckels Pro-S knives & LOVE them so, I was a little hesitant to order these since the "twin gourmet" series is the cheaper line in the brand however, I shouldn't have worried. These knives are terrific - very sharp & durable & a great buy for the price. We use them practically every day & they are still razor-sharp. Highly recommend! Great knives! Got a set of Henckels Twin Pro knives for a wedding gift and decided to buy the steak knives to complement them. So far, love them! sharp knives I rarely eat meat, but am always chopping veggies. These knives have survived the "dish-washing" tests, and slicing tomatoes and onions (always a difficulty for me with their skins, and my arthritic hands) makes life a lot easier in the kitchen. I can get thin perfect slices, and the carnivores in the family find them great for meat. For me this was well worth the price!
