yup another broken wire
i suggest getting something else if u are thinking about getting this platter. I just recived mine to give to my mom as an xmas gift 6 days before xmas and i just opened it and found a broken wire. The chances of getting one that isnt broken are slim to none and i recomend not taking the chance. This makes me so pissed. Dont they have inspectors looking at the platters to make sure they arent broken?? But what do they care their the ones getting the money!!!
Nice cheese tray, arrived in good condition
Arrived in good condition, no broken wires. I have enjoyed my previous Prodyne cheese slicer, this adds the cracker well. Recommended, and at a good price.

Excellent Product, Excellent Buy!
Despite several critical reviews of this product, it was just what I was looking for; so I ordered 4 (3 for gifts).
The 4 arrived,individually boxed, in a single well packed shipping carton. All units were nicely finished.
AS THE INSTRUCTIONS EXPLAINED, THE UNITS ARE SHIPPED WITH THE CHEESE CUTTING WIRE ADJUSED TAUGHT AGAINST ONE SIDE OF THE CUTTING SLOT. A simple little wiggling of the cutting bar as explained in the directions is all it takes to readjust the wire to the center of the slot. All 4 units were readily adjusted. All units work perfectly.

I purchased this as a Christmas present for some friends and they love it. The slicer is very sharp and comes with a lifetime warraanty. Very practical and easy to clean, just be careful. The wood is high quality and the cracker well is very cute. Great for entertainers and cheese lovers.
