The ice cream maker is a great product. The extra bowl allows us to always have the ice cream maker available without having to worry about whether the bowl has been sufficiently frozen. For frozen yogurt (and ice cream) lovers, this is a great addition. extra fun I purchased this to go along with the ice cream maker I purchased so I could have two different flavors to indulge myself. Great product I lost my original one from Hurricane Rita damage. Decided to purchase a new one. This is the same expected quality. The same orginal equipment. Great product. I would recommend this product. The Cuisinart Ice Cream maker is great, but it does not make a lot of ice cream at once. I would recommend the extra freezer bowl if you have kids. This works as a replacement canister for the GE Ice Cream Maker! If your 1.5 Quart GE Gel Canister 106765 has died, this canister will work with your GE Ice Cream maker.
