KitchenAid K45WW Wire Whip Replacement for KSM90 and K45 Stand Mixer customer reviews: Whipping up a storm I bought this as a part of a second set of accessories for my KitchenAid stand mixer and have succeeded in revitalizing a very old machine without spending a lot of money. The wire whip is easy to connect and to clean, and does a terrific job of whipping ingredients. Egg whites, etc., quickly turn into a high volume froth, and while the machine does the work, I can focus on other parts of the recipe. Kitchenaid Wire Whip Received this product brand new and very quickly. I needed it for a gift for Christmas and I was very satisfied. not as sturdy as the original I was very disappointed when I received this whisk. My original had bent, and was barely usable but when I compared the two side by side, this was made of thinner gauge lighter weight wire, leaving it even more likely to bend in the future. I expected better from kitchenaid. wire whip for Kitchenaid the whip itself is pretty well made, as was the mixer. Unfortunately, I cannot get the right size replacements for a really old Kitchenaid stand mixer that still runs like a dream. This newer one, does not fit on the spindle post properly and so represents a wasted effort. luckily, we found the old one. We have no desire to replace the antique (1940's - '50's) model until it is really needed. The appliance has been great.
