Great litle chopping set!
This is a terrific item especially if you are more comfortable hand chopping foods than using food processors. I depend on this set to prepare homemade egg salad, hummus and chopped liver. There are extensive possibilities for putting it to good use. This is my second Henckel's Mincing Set, having purchased the original one from Amazon about five years ago. I did not have to replace my mincing set because the chopping board or blades got worn out...I had to replace it as my neighbor borrowed it and liked it so much, she refused to return it to me! This set is quite durable and dependable.
Love my Henckel 2 pc mincing set
The Henckel 2 pc herb mincing set exceeds my expectations. I gave one to my Mother-in-law for Christmas and also bought one for myself. Both of us love it.
It makes chopping herbs and/or any other food an easy task.

Another "must have"
Just got this today and couldn't wait to try it out. The weight and quality of the bowl is perfect, with feet to keep it in place - and the blades - what's to say? - they're Henckels - well balanced and quite sharp. I use a lot of fresh herbs and this made short work of the prep. Very nicely designed and quality made. I'm wondering now how I lived without this in my kitchen and am ordering several for Christmas gifts. Great product and an excellent buy for the money!
Excellent for herb chopping
The Henckels 2-piece mincing set works great for fine chopping of herbs. It is the sharpest one I have seen. I agree with some of the reviews that state it is hard at times to distinguish the handle from the blade when you quickly pick it up, so you have to be very aware of this to ensure you don't grabe the sharp cutting blade end instead of the handle. I have been keeping mine in the lightweight cardboard sleeve that it came in. It would be helpful to have a good, strong plastic sleeve to put over the cutting blades. I haven't tried chopping nuts with this cutter, but think it would do a fantastic job.
Great Mincer
I bought this mincer for my wife for her birthday. She enjoys herbs from her garden. It is sharp and can be used with one hand. Cleaning is very easy. Caution must be used when cleaning the middle of the blades. I recommend this product
