Eastman Outdoors 3-Battery Oil Pump Description
It takes a huge amount of oil to deep-fry and it's a shame to throw it all away afterward. However, you can filter out any food particles and reuse oil as long as it's stored properly to avoid spoiling and reheated to a minimum of 350 degrees F for sterilization. Eastman Outdoors' cooking-oil filter pump takes the mess out of the filtering process as there is no risk of spillage. Shaped like a long wand, the pump is 27-1/2 inches long so it can reach oil at the bottom of the tallest stockpots. Running off of three D batteries, the pump siphons leftover oil from your cooking pot into a storage container via a 26-inch-long plastic tube. A filter within the pump ensures that any bits of food or seasoning that could potentially taint the oil are left behind. 3 battery oil pump I bought a couple of them, nothing but junk and a waste of money, great idea but but please mak with better quality. each one i bought(hoping it would work) didnt last more than 2 trys and than quit,don't waste your money on this junk

Bought this item brand new. It doesn't work at all - there's no action whatsoever! The one-stars have it. Two uses, and then quit for no apparent reason. Junk? Yes. Satisfied I have an old two battery model and it has worked great for years. Just today the clear hard plastic tub (down from pump) cracked. Can I get a replacement? Great while it lasted This was an excellent product while it lasted. We had it about 3 mths, then it broke. Not very sturdy and durable.
