Super Quiet Fan
Wow! This fan is very quiet. I often forget that it is even on. It does a great job with circulating the air. It also rotates to different angles too. I was very pleased with my purchase. The amazon price is also cheaper that what I paid at BJ Wholesale club. I would recommend the fan.
Soleus Air FTY125 10 inch fan
This fan is very quiet. I keep in the window at night to bring in the cool air. It is so quiet that I do not hear it and can sleep peacefully. I have purchased many fans that claim to be quiet and are not. This Soleus fan really is. A coworker had one in her small office, and it was quiet also. The fan moves the air efficiently without a wind tunnel effect. The timer works and and does not tick.

This is a great fan. I've boughten 2 for myself and 7 additional for friends & family per their request. The best thing about it - it's very quiet!
very quiet, yet effective.
Our second story bedroom heats up to the mid 80's in the daytime. Rather than run the HVAC, we used a swamp cooler at night positioned in front of the 20 inch window until its motor died earlier this year. Our replacement cooler was not as effective, and much noisier, so we purchased this fan. After building a small shelf to place in the window frame and sill, this fan is amazingly effective, and wonderfully quiet for overnight operation, especially at the two lowest speeds. The spinning fan guard does a great job distributing the air. It's also quite stylish, needless to say.
Great Little Fan 
Bought this to use in connection with our treadmill. Like the controls being in the front as we have it on a high shelf. Working out very well and so are we!
