It is a decent item
It does it's job but it is a bit expensive for plastic. I use it to dry my baby bottles and other baby accesories but I really don't know if it will hold up with real use (dishes, cups, etc...). Reason why I purchased it was because of its convenient size, fits perfectly above my minifridge.
Awesome dish rack!!!
I purchased this dishrack for my "miniature" kitchen while attending school. I loved that if you only needed to dry a few things it could do that or if you procrastinated too long and had to dry most all of your dishes, you could expand it and do that too. I also liked how the excess water was funneled nicely into the sink.
My sink did have a lip on it, like most do, so in order to make the water drain towards the sink and not onto the counter, I put a piece of styrofoam under the "back" of the dishrack, opposite the pour spout.
The dishrack is plastic, but it is very sturdy. It really holds plates, cookie sheets, etc. in an upright position. And, unlike some dishracks, there is no danger in it tipping over if you load heavy stuff on only one end.
I purchased the utensil holder and loved that you could pull it off for more room on the rack or pull it off and carry it over to the silverware drawer to put away the utensils.
I accidentally left this in my apartment when I moved a year ago and have been missing it ever since. A year ago, I could not find this product so I am happy to see it here, rather than beg the new renter to send it to me. LOL
