The Weather Channel WS-7208TWC Wireless Weather Station

I am pretty interested in the weather so when I received this as a Christmas present I was very excited. I've had this thing set up for a bit over a week and I love it. It is able to display the indoor and outdoor temperature to a tenth of a degree. The best part of this station is the weather forecast. In the "forecast" section of the display, an arrow is present along with a weather icon. The arrow in the display shows the current air pressure trend. Increasing air pressure (up arrow) means improving weather, while decreasing air pressure (down arrow) means worsening weather. The forecast section also displays one of three forecast icons. The icons include sunny, partly cloudy, and cloudy with rain. These icons predict the weather for 12-24 from the current time and are 75% accurate. (this forecast is achieved by averaging past air pressure trends) Overall, I find this weather station very neat. I find that it is perfect for those who are interested in the weather. For those who are absolutely obsessed with the weather, this station might fall short of what you might want. Great product for the price. If you are interested in the weather this little weather station is perfect for you.
I LOVE THIS THERMOMETER

Really COOL. Lets you know the min. and max. temps, current temp., and indoor, too. I love it.
Not So Hot - Junk!

The receiver will rarely start correctly. Then it gives up. When you need to restart you need to take the batteries out for at least 2 days and let it fix itself for some mysterious reason. It worked fairly well during the winter months but when the temps reached around 60-70 degrees it just quit. I got it going a couple of times but it quits again after a day or so and needs to be reset - another two to three day waiting process. In actual fact, it spends more time "resting" than telling the temperature. Not a quality item - Junk!
Entry level weather station

This is a pretty basic unit, but it answers the age old question of "How hot/cold is it outside?". Usually walking out onto the porch is enough to figure this out, but I usually pick my clothes for the day in the bedroom. Now I have this thing on my desk to tell me how hot or cold it is, and if the barometer is rising or falling. I'll get a more sophisticated unit later, but this works well for now.I only rate it three stars because it does seem cheaply made, and the original remote temperature sending unit had to be replaced by the manufacturer because it never worked. They did replace it free of charge. It seems like pretty good deal for the money.
