Breach of Warranty Average rating of 1/5Average rating of 1/5Average rating of 1/5Average rating of 1/5Average rating of 1/5
My grill collapsed! I got burned but fortunate not seriously. That was on June 20, 2004. I was promised a replacement would be shipped immediately. It's now September 19th and I still am without a grill!

I've had my grill only two years, taking good care of it, storing it in our heated garage eight months out of the year. When the bottom of my grill collapsed. I contacted customer service, since the grill is GURANTEED for 5YEARS `NOSE TO TOES". I was told a replacement base was in stock and would be shipped immediately. Two weeks went by and I didn't receive anything. I sent numerous e-mails without even the courtesy of a reply. Finally after weeks of being ignored I wrote to their president Paul Faabord and asked him to have someone look into the matter. Two weeks went by without a reply. I sent a second e-mail. Finally he sent an e-mail telling me to be patient as building a replacement base takes time (this after customer support told me the base was in stock). He also told me "Please no more 'second request'. It doesn't help you or me to accomplish this."

The base collapsed on June 20, 2004.
Their president said a replacement would start constructed July 14, 2004.
I've sent numerous e-mails simply asking for a delivery date.
As of September 19, 2004 I haven't received a single reply.
I submitted a complaint to the local BBB and am hoping they can get the company to make good on their warranty commitment but I'm not very hopeful judging from the attitude of their president.

My name is Robert Tarantino and I can be e-mailed at btarantino@dataram.com
