Horrible product! Don't waste your money The Eureka Maxima product is the WORST floor cleaner I have ever had. I spent $80 buying this at Home Depot, and it is terrible. It doesn't even get most stuff off the floor, it just spits it right back out. The hose comes loose from where it feeds into the dirt compartment ALL THE TIME. If I vacuum one room, I must replace that hose half a dozen times. And each time it comes out, it spews whatever it was sucking up all over the floor. It is a terrible product, and I wish I had never bought it. Don't waste your money - you're better off picking the dirt off the floor by hand. 3 years and going strong With all the high-priced vacuums out there, it's nice to find an inexpensive, general-purpose vaccuum. I used this for a year in my apt, and then donated it to my parents for use as a cottage cleaner. And we all know how dirty and grimy those lakehouses get. Not a powerhouse, but definitely gets the job done! Three years, still working Bought in Nov 2004, this is still working like new. Use it about once a month on berber carpet, pile carpet and tile floor. Came with replacement belt, haven't used that yet, so probably this vacuum cleaner will last another 3 years! Awful Vaccuum DO NOT buy this vaccuum. It loses suction fairly quickly and there's nothing you can do about it. HORRIBLE product. good for three months then nothing This vacuum was great for the first three or four months then it got worse and today just quit altogether- I kept the hoses cleaned out and the filter changed- I am disgusted-
