Tried TWO of these - would be great if they actually worked 
I keep an office of 35 running, including coffee. I was very happy when I first bought this. It worked great, coffee tasted good, I only had to make coffee once in the morning. Unfortunately, a few weeks after we started using it, , it started "re-perking" my coffee when it wasn't supposed to, several times a morning, and burned it - YUK. I called Mr. Coffee and they sent another one out right away - great service. But the second one started doing the same thing. No more Mr. Coffee urns for this office!
Mr. Coffee 45 cup urn
There are many good things about this coffee urn, but the two which stand out are the very friendly and usable spigot and the easy-to-clean stainless steel urn itself. Anyone serving coffee to a large group or even a medium group (since you can make less than 45 cups if less is needed) should find this a good urn.
I don't get it!
I had this item on my wish list because I thought the price was great ($64). Later, I looked at it on my wish list and suddenly the price was $89. I almost took it off my list, but figured perhaps the price would go back down. So, just now I was literally getting ready to actually order the thing (when I saw the price was $64 again). I decided to check out the "larger image" first. When I went back to "regular view" again, the price was suddenly $71! Sheeesh ... I know prices will change here and there, but this is RIDICULOUS!!!! What's UP, Amazon???!!! How can an item's price change so much with such discrepancy??? Perhaps I'll wait and see if the price ever goes back to $64--or, hey, maybe it ALREADY HAS in the time it took me to type this ...????
A Great Product At A Reasonable Price
I've been looking for a stainless steel coffee urn for a while, keeping my eye on prices. This product is exactly what I've been looking for; has a large capacity, completely stainless steel (including the filter basket), and works really well.
Mr. Coffee
The Mr. Coffee 45 cup steel urn is just what I wanted. I bought this for coffee hour at my church and it works great. Delivery was excellent and the price was great.
