We have been using this particular model for several years as white noise when sleeping. They have a very relaxing sound that is easy to go to sleep by. I have tried many different fans for white noise and this one is the best. Wouldn't adjust. When I tried to adjust the angle of the fan it didn't move. With a minimum amount of force the clip broke. I kept it anyway because where I'm using it adjustability is not important and it was cheap. small but powerful For the size this fan has lots of power run on high and is relatively quiet when run on low.Inability to adjust direction is the one weak point but the powerful air stream more than makes up for it with us.We just tilt it with a pad underneath if we need to.Lakewood fans and heaters in my experience are very well made for the relatively low cost.We use both in our large massage/yoga studio. Love this fan! I love this fan. After 10 years of using my last one, I'm finally having to replace it. It's output is phenomenal especially for such a small fan. My spouse hates it, but it travels with us everywhere we go.
