Man Grill Okay first things first. I just bought this grill from a Military PX and will report on its reliability as time goes on. All I can say now is that assembly was very easy. It is going to get it's first work out this weekend. One thing that really interests me is the ability to do "indirect heating". This appears to be the best method of grilling ribs and such and with four burners I think this grill may be great at doing this. So stand by and I will report as information comes available.
Okay, Dec 2006 and this thing is still going strong. I have grilled everything from a whole Thanksgiving turkey to about 20 at a time shish ka bobs. No reported problems at all. This grill for the price cannot be beat.
Jan 2008: Man Grill is still working great. Time has taken its toll on the appearance, part my fault for not covering it up all the time. But this thing is great for doing ribs. I recently bought the Char Broil smoke box and some mesquite chips. Smoked two racks of ribs for about 7 hours and they were a work of art. The drip guards have seen better days and the burners have to "whacked" clean of rust about twice a year. This will eventually be the demise of the burners and I don't think they can be replaced since this model has been discontinued (I think). Overall still a great grill, a great Man Grill. Bad warranty Limited lifetime warranty not free. Charge for shipping on their defective product. Buyer beware. Works Great For Me I bought this grill pre-assembled at HD for memorial day and I think it works great. It has 4 adjustable burners, so that the heat can be directed at different parts of the grill, it has a rack so that the meat can be taken off the grill, but still be kept warm or still cook at a lower heat. All you have to do is turn on the canister, turn the knob and it's ready to go. I will never go back to charcoal again. The consturction is not as good as some of the other units that I looked at, but when I did the cost benefit analysis, this one was the winner.
