EmPower Upright TurboPower Bagless Vacuum Cleaner with Teflon Coated HEPA Filter customer reviews: Bad Design In a nutshell: 1) The vacuum is very hard to push because the wheels have NO bearings. Just cheap plastic wheels. 2)The belt that drives the rotating brush broke after only 4 uses. Now I'm waiting for replacements in the mail at $2.50 each. Many customers complain about this defect and had I known about it I woulod have never purchased this vacuum. 3) Cleaning the large dirt cup and hepa filter is a MESSY, DIRTY job. 4) I'm going back to my canister vacuum with disposable bags. They are MUCH easier to push and there is no messy clean-up. impressed with pet hair pick up I have purchased many different vaccums in this price range and none of them offered the cleaning ability that I was looking for. Most particularly the clean up of the clingy pet hair from two cats. Before my purchase I reviewed information about the vac and it that stated that it was good at picking up difficult pet hair. I'll admit that I was skeptical but I was tired of using the tape type rollers to remove the hair. When it went on sale at a local store I bought it and tried it out the first day and I was amazed at how well it removed not only pet hair but how and well it seemed to clean overall. especially since I had just used another hover vaccum on the carpet and furniture the day before.
