Don't waste your money, unless you have NO strength... First, this has awful scrubbing power. And it's such a small sized scrubber, it isn't very useful in the tub or shower.
Also, mine leaked and eventually (after about 6 small uses) actually BURNT out...smoke & all.
A hazard, useless, a waste of money! Elbow Grease not included with purchase I found to get off tough water stains or calcium build up even with soaking the tile with CLR and using 2 different brushes I had to use alot of elbow grease, not enough RPM's are generated with this product to clean dirty surfaces easily. Satisfied customer I am a resident manager at a senior property in Oak Creek, Wi and I found it handy for me to use in the vacant apartment turnovers. I thought I had a problem with the sprayer not working, but I went to the instructions and found the tool to unclog the sprayer, so I am in business again.
Gloria Johns There are some performance issues After reading the largely pro reviews of this product (on amazon.com)I purchased The Black & Decker Scum Buster.Well don't believe the hype.
There is in my view a glitch particularily with the 2nd speed mode which rarely works the way it is supposed to.I am sending mine to a service center.By the way the young lady who answered the 1800-544-6986 was borderline rude with little customer service savvy.The Scum Buster is not powerfull enough for my gritty tub..... use at high spped, then excellent Initially I made the mistake of using this at low speed, and it was not even as good as I could do myself. However, at high speed, it is great. It removes the black marks on the bottom of the bathtub from a rubber mat that was there. I thought those would never come off. They are 90% gone now, and I suspect that another use will make them pretty much invisible. This is a huge win in appearance.
