Wusthof 2 Stage Knife Sharpener Description This Wusthof Knife Life Sharpener is a two stage knife sharpener with a built-in scissors sharpener. The carbide side sets your knife's edge, while the ceramic side finishes the edge. The scissors sharpener will sharpen both blades for left- or right-handed scissors at the same time. The E-Z grip handle and non-slip rubber feet helps to keep the sharpener in place and safe to use. The Knife Life Sharpener is for both right and left handed use.

Wusthof 2 Stage Knife Sharpener customer reviews: Works well The sound created when using this product is similar to that of nails on a chalkboard, so be prepared to endure that aspect of the sharpening process. Otherwise, I have found the sharpener to work quite well. It does not perform as well on very dull knives, but I sharpened my tomato slicing knife and it now slices through tomatoes with ease. Excellent Product! I've tried several different knife sharpeners in my life and I've never come across one so versatile and user friendly as this product! Not only does it sharpen your knives, it also sharpens scissors. It's very easy to use as well, you just hold the non-slip handle onto a steady surface and the grips at the bottom keep it stable while you are sharpening. It only takes a few swipes of the sharpening edge and a couple more of the ceramic refining edge to get my blades sharp enough to split a strand of hair, just like in the cartoons! Amazing! Wusthof 2 Stage Knife Sharpener It is very easy to use, it is "foolproof" (e.g. you do not have to think about holding the knife at the right angle). And I have my good old knives back! Highly recommended! Great product! Better and easier than using a steel or a huge electric sharpener. The design makes it almost impossible to sharpen the knife at the wrong angle and it fits nicely in a kitchen drawer. It's got a coarse sharpener and a fine sharpener, which makes is quick and easy to sharpen a really dull knife (a few swipes through one, then a few swipes through another, and you're all set!). I had a drawer full of knives that I was ready to throw away and start with all new. I decided to give this a try and love my knives again.
