George Foreman GRP90WGR Next Grilleration Removable-Plate Grill with 5 Plates, Red customer reviews: George Foreman Grilleration This is my third GF grill. The first two were the jumbo sized grills. I loved using them, hated cleaning them! This one is j-u-s-t right ... it takes up less counter space, the fats drain off easier and it looks nicer. The actual grilling area doesn't seem so much smaller than the large ones I had before.The best part of it is, it is SO much easier to clean! Workhorse with a few flaws I bought mine a few years ago, when it first came out, to replace the too-small GF grill I had. I find myself using this one almost every day - nothing beats scrambled eggs on toast in the morning, and a hot meal at night! The Pros: Easy to use Easy clean-up, especially with the GF sponges Large padded handle Detachable non-stick grill plates Quick heating and cooking time Durable The included guide has accurate cooking time guidelines You will find uses for it that you wouldn't have thought of when you bought it (like making sauces!) The Cons: The plastic handles on the sides of the grill plates are on the flimsy side The plates don't attach tightly after years of use Uneven heating Breakfast scrambles take about fifteen minutes, if you include eating time. I also like making grilled cheese and tomato sandwiches on it. The few times I tried waffles, the waffles cooked through unevenly, but they were still good. It's also easy to pop off the pans when they are hot and swap in substitutes - for instance, when making grilled chicken with an orange balsamic sauce. I normally just cook for myself, but the grill is a good size for small dinner parties too, especially if you have a toaster oven or warming pan to keep food warm while cooking the next course. As a side note, I take good care of my stuff. I clean the plates and the grill after I come home from work, and have only tossed the plates in the dishwasher once or twice.I would recommend this product to anyone who is a little patient. 3 days ago, this product new was only $49...WHAT HAPPENED???? NOW IT'S $122?????????????????????? I WON'T ORDER IT NOW!!! AN $80 PRICE JUMP UPWARD IN 3 OR 4 DAYS??? WHATS THE DEAL? Easy to use - Easy to clean The grill is super easy to use. Very versatile and easy to clean. It does NOT have a large cooking area. If you're cooking for a large group you might want something with a larger cooking surface. The ease of cleaning and exchanging surface plates makes this a terrific product. recipes please 'have really liked all the GF things we have purchased...however with this latest grill the G5..IT HAS BEEN ALL GUESS WORK!!!THere is NO recipe book included to get you started..BOOOO But I do like it!!!! Oh, I ended up ordering a recipe book on line for $10.
