HoMedics Wireless with Time and Temp Projection - DWS170 customer reviews:

Blurry, dim projection feature. Cheap and very user-unfriendly. Average rating of 1/5Average rating of 1/5Average rating of 1/5Average rating of 1/5Average rating of 1/5
This product went right back in the box after being out for only 10 minutes.

I had high hopes for this clock because I thought I'd prefer having the time and temperature projected in blue light rather than the more common red. Unfortunately, when compared to our current projection clock made by LaCrosse, this is a cheap imitation. The image, even after fiddling with the focus, remains blurry and dim around the edges (you can't even read the "AM/PM" indicator at all, regardless of how close or far the projector is from the wall or ceiling). And when one area of the image is in focus, another is not. The projector lense appears to be made of a cheap, distorted plastic. Placed side by side with the LaCrosse there's no comparison.

As far as the base unit itself, setting it proved to be a complex process, having to press this button for 3 seconds, then another button, then another button to confirm. You definitely have to read the manual to figure it out.

I didn't even get as far as testing the remote outdoor temperature feature because the clock itself was such a disappointment.
