So far so good
I am always a bit worried about fads, but decided to try one of these out after hearing good things by a caterer friend.
So far, it has been real nice to use. It is strange how well it keeps its surface after much use. Even though it feels like you could break it by dropping it on the floor, it is actually quite strong.
I have been wary about using it with heat even though it is advertised safe, especially after reading a review where they said it gave the food a strange flavor. However, I have never had a need to use it in the oven so...
I really have been looking for a downside and can t find one. Even though it is large, it is light and thin, and easy to handle. The amount of cutting board real estate is wonderful. However, if you have minimal counter space you may not want to get the largest one. It does not fit well in a reg size dishwasher. But it is easy to clean, so still not bad.
I gave 5 stars because I find myself reaching for this one over all of my other cutting boards almost every time. And it seems to be quite durable thus far. About 4 months
Good product
This cutting board arrived as ordered. When you wash it, however, be prepared for an unusual odor: not bad, just unusual! Cutting marks do show. It also slides around on the counter top so we put rubber "feet" on one side to prevent this and now it stays put.
Not too happy-down to one star
This cutting board looks great and goes perfectly with our new countertops. Bought as a gift for my husband, who is the salad maker in our family. He is very disappointed. The board moves around as he cuts...but the
main problem is that we have had it for a very short time and it has started to warp. Don't think this should happen at all...let alone in such a short time...only a few months since we got it.
ADDITION TO REVIEW....We got rid of the board several days ago. The warping got worse and my husband
was totally annoyed since it kept sliding. Also more and more obvious scratch marks from cutting. Would never
had purchased this board had we know. Feel that a cutting board should last more than a few months. Change
review to one star for looks.
Terrible. Actually dangerous. Material rubs off onto the food.
I bought this a few weeks ago at Bed Bath and Beyond. Worked nicely at first. But tonight, I noticed tiny bits of black material from the board rubbing off onto the knife and my chicken. It took me a very long time to remove the pieces from the chicken. I even considered throwing the chicken away. Needless to say, I have thrown out the board.

What horrible reviews. I bought the black ones after my daughter and I had used the brown ones with great success. We now have 3 and were deighted to see that another daughter had put them on her wish list. We wanted to give them to her earlier but were afraid we could offend her. THEY ARE GREAT especially if you have already spent a lot of money on good knives.
