The unit makes excellent coffee in large or small quantities in the three minutes it claims and the warmer keeps it hot. We have been thoroughly pleased with its operation. Unlike one reviewer who was unable to use filters from the grocery store without getting grounds in the coffee, we have used them with no problems at all. I've owned a Bunn for over 18 years and finally had to replace it. This new model makes the same great coffee. Do wish it had a timer. Other than that, it's perfect.
