Very easy to work with. Blade very sharp. Be sure to use the hand guard with all slicing. The instructions stress this. Easy to store and clean. Very satisfied with this product.
Kyocera Adjustable Mandolin Slicer
Pro's: The ease of use is amazing. I love the fact that it fits in the drawer and just needs to be pulled out of the draw to use. It is extremely sharp and cuts perfectly. In the short time I've had this item I've used it more time than my big mandolin slicer.
Con's: Only one - I wish I could get a 1/4 inch cut. The 4 adjustments go from paper thin to approximately a little less than 1/8 inch.
Must-have kitchen tool
I love this slicer! It makes slicing anything and everything superfast and super-easy. I'll lay it over a big bowl and do radishes, beets, carrots, cucumbers, cabbage, scallions, anything...on top of my favorite salad greens. One tool to clean up at the end.
The ceramic blade is sharp and impressive. The slicer is easy and fast to use and clean. What else could one ask for?
I use this tool 3-4 times a week and recommend it highly for anyone.
great gadget
This is an excellent product, very reasonably priced. It is small, unlike other mandolines, so it takes up very little space, but works very well and produces even slices in no time.
Excellent mandoline 
I got this mandoline based on the reviews and having owned other kyocera ceramic knives and it has been great. It is very compact and light which makes it easy to store and use. It also made quick work of the potatoes I was cutting for a gratin. The blade is very sharp and the 4 adjustments are easy to make with a turn of the dial below. The guard however is not that great at holding the actual potato or whatever you may be slicing unless you put a lot of force on it. But overall, it's a great mandoline for the price.
