Ducane 30742201 Affinity 4200 4-Burner Natural Gas Grill Description "The Affinity 4200 gas grills feature an enclosed painted cart with a stainless steel door. All grills are constructed with a stainless steel lid insert and a stainless steel tube lid handle; a lid thermometer; and cast aluminum end caps. The cooking system, rated at 48,000 BTUs, includes 4 stainless steel burners and an electronic ignition. Cooking grates are made of 1/4"" diameter stainless steel wire. The Affinity 4200 has a 12,000 BTU flush-mounted side burner with a stainless steel lid. The primary cooking area measures 526 sq. inches; the warming rack area measures 167 sq. inches, giving a total cooking area of 693 sq. inches. Other features include a stainless steel stamped warming rack, porcelain-enameled heat distribution plates, textured painted right hand side table, textured painted left hand side table with side burner, and a stainless steel control panel. Ducane 30742201 Affinity 4200 4-Burner Natural Gas Grill customer reviews: Works great! Pruduct arrived right away and in great shape. No problem with assembly -- and it's working like a champ. Even better than our old Ducane, which we had for more than 15 years. Top quality grill Ordered and received in 1 week. Lid was damaged but 1 call to Ducane and they shipped a replacement. Other than that it is a substantially made, easily assembled grill. A word to the wise I bought the Ducane Affinity 4400 but this grill is similar. The promotional feature of "porcelain-enameled heat distribution plates" is misleading. Please look at my review for the Ducane Affinity 4400 for information on Ducane's "normal deterioration" of these plates from the moment the grill is lit for the first time. Well constructed, easy to use Ordered this while on sale for $250.00 with $100.00 shipping. Shipping was prompt and delivery company helpful. Took about 1 hour to setup, mostly screwing on panels and wheels, and was easy with good instructions. Grill has a 3/8 inch quick connect at the natural gas hose end. My home had a 1/2 inch gas outlet, so I needed to get parts at Lowes to adapt that (Note: don't try this yourself unless you know what you are doing!) Grill preheats to 500 degrees in 4-5 minutes, cooks even and fast! Very happy with this purchase. Okay for the money Heats up well, no issue with hot spots, great for parties on deck. Easy to put together - couple of the holes didn't line up (had to enlarge the holes to complete). Image of the item never showed the back of the grill - behind the door is open to the elements (my old one was an enclosed cabinet) - would think all would be - Added a pice of aluminum cross the back to out (opportunity for the manufacturer).
