Just got finished blanching Silver Queen corn to put in freezer. Better to use this big pot outside than steam up the kitchen. Works like a champ. There were a few little dings from shipping, but nothing that affects performance. I know some people like aluminum, but I'll stick with stainless, especially when I cook a big pot of venison chili or brunswick stew for the neighborhood. Very happy with the purchase
