Weber 3758001 Genesis E-320 Propane Gas Grill, Dark Blue customer reviews:

Retro excellence Ahh! The Gratification! Consumer Reports came today and this grill is rated number 1!
I've had the grill for a month so I knew already it was good...but still...
It does everything you want it to do with ease.
I bought it to be "my" grill. I've always been a bit afraid of gas grills (not fire and charcoal though!) so I determined I would get a Weber because of what I had heard about their customer support and their history of excellence.
I decided with my new grill I would be the grill master. And, from my first call to their support line, I've been pleased. Yes, there were a few problems. I expect problems with nearly everything so the support helps and is important.
Theirs is one of the best I have ever used. When you call, you get a real person after several rings. No automated system trying to answer your questions. And, you don't have to give the history of your life before they answer your question. They ask, "How can we help you?". You have to be registered, though, but there is no rigmarole to get a simple answer. The problem I had? The stainless panel where the knobs are was slightly bowed and the knobs kept popping out of the stems. I didn't have to ask for a new panel. It was immediately volunteered and I received it several days later. It fixed the problem perfectly.
A bowed panel is not a sign of excellence to begin with, but then, I'm cynical.
This grill was also on back order for a couple months. I called Weber several times during the back order and was pleased with the direct answers I received.
The basic workings of the grill are Weber hallmarks and this new updated grill with greatly improved looks (Thank you Weber for leaving 1985 behind!) is great for the money.
I bought the green one, btw.
Fantastic Product I Bought this grill 4th of July and have went through 5 tanks in 4 months using it (80 to 100 grillings). No problems at all. Heats up to 600 degrees in 5 minutes, cooks evenly front to back, can be cleaned it in about a minute. The iron grates add great sear marks. Much better than steel or porcelin. Shopped for about 2 months because it's pricy, but have found out since it's really worth it. Even my wife, who was out of town when I purchased it, has since said it was a smart buy.
Also, I have never read one bad comment about their customer service. It actually seems to be a priority with Weber.
Awesome! This grill is the best I have ever owned! It is built well cooks evenly, and often gets compliments for it's color.
Quality grill - exactly what you expect Just finished putting the grill together by myself. The instructions are fair - not great but not too bad. Few words- virually all pictures. The initial part of construction is the hardest with little parts and you need to know the exact orientation of where the parts fit. It gets easier as you get along. Getting the frame together requires some finesse especially with one person. Putting the lid on top of the frame can be done by one person but would be easier with 2 people. I took around 2-3 hours in suboptimal conditions- was raining and dark while I was trying to put it together. They give you all necessary screws, bolts. They don't give you extra pieces so don't lose them!
The propane tank goes inside the cabinet which makes things much more tidy. The doors of the cabinet look good, but doesn't feel that strong (light and hollow) and the bottom of the cart is a bit flimsy (?aluminum) especially if the propane tank rests on it. The tank is hung on a spring device which "weighs" the tank. A full tank is heavier and I guess the spring is calibrated to usual tank weight. There is a marker which gives you a guess of how full the tank is. Overall the grill is solid and quality construction. My neighbors already complimented the grill's appearance.
I haven't used the grill alot yet but the ignition is flawless. The box delivery was done through a freight delivery company that delivered on saturday. (very nice for those who work weekdays) They called 1/2 hour- 1 hour before getting there is a huge boon for busy people. The box is huge and heavy obviously. Price on amazon was better than home depot and I don't think that the box would fit an average sedan. So I'm glad I got this from amazon.
I will update this when I fully use the grill. But I expect to love this. I have enjoyed my weber charcoal grill for years.
Addendum: I just finished using the grill. Worked flawlessly. Enough said.
Even heat What I like is the even heat throughout. No hot spots like other grills. This cooks better than my oven. Only issue I have is the amount of cleaning. You want to keep the stainless looking like new - I use the Barkeeper's Friend powder made into a paste to keep it shiny.
