Beware of this product as the reviews are false
Before you buy based on the reviews click on the reviewers and you can see they have only reviewed other products made by this company.
The language is similar in all the reviews. Abuse of the review system is terrible and I hope the company suffers for it.
Better taste than tap
We usually purchase bottled water which I also use for cooking. Its no fun carrying those heavy 2.5 gallon water from Costco (and the cost overtime). I did ask Tersano thru their blog if their plastic container is BPA free and was told it was. I guess it would be nice to have a travel size and maybe in stainless steel because the unit is made in China (I hope their supplier is strict about what type of plastic is being used). I also hear they are working on making a recyclable filter. Nowadays we never know whats in tap water so better safe than sorry...being FDA and USDA approved made me convinced it works better than other filter system.
Water Treatment System
The delivery on this product took way to long, and after calling to get the tracking #, I was given the run around. Also, I bought one from Costco in the past and they provide 2 pitchers, Amazon only provided one and the price went up over 30%.
BAD - BAD - SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!
This is really a piece of garbage. Do NOT buy this.
When I tried to put it together I was shocked at how cheap the material was. The plastic seemed almost used and brittle. The top portion that goes over the filter to encase and draw out the water DID NOT FIT no matter what I tried. Short of jamming it on there and breaking it (Which I wasn't willing to risk) there was no way to even get the machine running. Even the packaging the product came in seemed used, as if they repackaged a used machine and box and thought the consumer was too stupid to notice.
For me, that alone was enough to return this with all possible haste. My vote is to NOT buy this machine as it is cheaply made and the instruction do not seem to cover anything beyond very basic assembly.
A must have for every home
Easy to set up, great tasting! My kid enjoys watching the machine work its cycle! I am so pleased with this water and its taste. We use our filtered water in it and add additional liquid minerals from watershed.net to the end decanter. This is part of my families health plan and should be a must for all families.
