I don't know how well they do that but they are fun to wear. Fun is good. I paid $7.85 for them, I waited until they went to that price. dont bother first of all your weight crushes the little cilla pods on bottom of shoe and secondly the little cillapods fall off periodically and my cat eats it and pukes Dustless slippers The threads at the bottom are quite thick and should I say rubbery compared to other microfiber mops I've owned. Then again you might slip if they were any other kind. I've only vacuumed these so far even though I've yet to see any dust on them. Either I've cleaned well or they just spread the dust around. I have yet to see how these will hold in the washing machine. If I'd buy something like this again, I'd probably look for the ones that have velcro attached mop and spares that can be easily replaced and washed. sorry but only a so-so They grab the dust and critter hair bunnies, but cleaning these after is a hastle. It really works These will get the dust and animal hair off the floor. They will not pick up big chunks, but who thinks they will anyway. They work great on linoeum, tile and hardwood floors.
