Great deal on a great coffee pot
I bought this coffee pot for my husband at Christmas. We use it regularly (twice a day) and have been very pleased with the results. We kept the insulated carafe from our old pot to use when we want to keep the coffee hot without burning it. I love the option of turning off the lower burner for this reason.
Great Buy!
This is an excellent coffee brewer and a excellent buy! Listen to the 5 star reviews. The burner does need to be turned on manually to heat the coffee while brewing or the coffee will not be as hot. Make hot choclate, tea, hot cereal with the instant hot water tap. I purchased this one about 8 months ago and we use and enjoy it daily. Great Buy!
A Very Impressive, Functional and Versatile. Coffee Maker
If you entertain. Have avid coffee or tea drinkers in your home. Have a stainless steel appliance kitchen This is a must have, coffee brewing/instant hot water system for you.
We do a great deal of entertaining. And so much of my time is spent running back and forth to the kitchen making pots of coffee, or a cup of tea for our dinner guests. Not any more. This coffee brewing system is fantastic.
Only 4-5 minutes, to make 12 piping hot cups of coffee. And, instant on demand hot water, for our tea drinking guests.
And during the holidays. Some want decaf coffee, some want regular coffee, some want a cup of instant soup, some want tea. This system does it all. At a fraction of the cost, of other coffee brewing systems.
And please don't think for a moment. That due to the price, or the appliance being refurbished. You're going to be disappointed. You are going to be amazed. The machine looks, and functions, like brand new.
Home or office use. This machine, for the price, and what it does. Is an outstanding buy. So much so. We purchased 3 units.

As an avid coffee drinker, when purchased this product I knew exactly what I was getting. My dad has a similar "Bunn" that is approximately 17 years old. The best feature is the 4 minute brew time. I am not a very patient person in the morning and never could remember to set the timer on my old coffee pot. I absolutely love the on/off switch for the burners. I did read all about it before purchasing though, so I already knew it wouldn't fit under my cabinets. All in all, I think this is everything I was looking for in a coffeemaker. Also, mine is refurb, never would have guessed though!!!!!
Makes a good strong cup of coffee, and great for hot water.
I got this to use when we entertain. Great for that! I used the same amount of coffee as in our 4 cup maker, and it made it just as strong for 12 cups, and fast! No running out of coffee with this machine.
