The right size for baby food Average rating of 4/5Average rating of 4/5Average rating of 4/5Average rating of 4/5Average rating of 4/5
We use this food processor for homemade baby food production. We had a tough time finding a "just right-sized" food processor. Most of them are either massive, or barely big enough to grind up an onion. We wanted something we could tuck away in the cabinet when not in use.

It is just the right size to grind up a bag of peas (minus the bag, of course) or a couple of steamed carrots or sweet potatoes. It could use a more powerful motor, though. It bogs down and starts to overheat if you fill it to capacity with particularly viscous foods.

A MUST HAVE Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5
I researched this handy counter top tool and read all reviews for days before purchasing. This being my THIRD, yes third kitchen tool of its kind (the other two got donated to Good Will because they didn't live up to the manufactures claims)I have to say that this is the best little kitchen companion. It has cut my prep time 75%...it is a must have!!! Really!

Perfect for hummus! Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5
I bought this primarily so I could make my homemade hummus. And it works great! I have used it for other stuff too and it worked great for that too.

Works For Me! Average rating of 4/5Average rating of 4/5Average rating of 4/5Average rating of 4/5Average rating of 4/5
I purchased this mini food processor quite recently, and we use it all the time, mainly to chop and mix healthy steamed vegetables with potatoes or rice. This way, we end up with a lot less carbs, but still get the satisfaction of having potatoes or rice. So far, I have not used it for anything else, but it handles what we need just fine. It is pretty easy to clean and handles very simply. Also, the Amazon price really rocks -- I bought this on Amazon for about half of what I would have paid at the giant discount retailers. By the way, by using this little wonder to help provide us with healthier meals with more fiber and nutrients, I have lost 12 lbs since we got it. I love Indian food, so I generally make my potato or rice and vegetable concoction and pour various Indian curry dishes or other tasty Indian sauces with meat or no meat. Works really well.

blends well, but a bit wimpy Average rating of 4/5Average rating of 4/5Average rating of 4/5Average rating of 4/5Average rating of 4/5
The mini-prep does a great job of blending small amounts of food and takes up very little counter space. I've used it to make pesto and hummus, and to blend a flaxseed oil and cottage cheese mixture with berries (sometimes partially frozen), and for the most part it just chugs along and processes really well. But it does bog down sometimes and just stop if you fill it more than about half full, and I've had to dig out some of the blended stuff and let it work on the rest, so the motor may be a bit underpowered. The plastic of the work bowl is also pretty thin; I worry about it breaking and can't just toss it in the sink with everything else. But on the whole, it's a great little machine for small jobs. It's a nice-looking little appliance too, with the shiny stainless steel.
