Great ice maker
We bought this for two reasons. Camping and a new home without a place to hook the ice maker in the fridge. It makes ice very fast. You have more than enough very quickly. You do have to move the ice to a freezer but it beats having to buy ice. Recommend it highly.
Swonderful!
This is a great addition to our household! We do not have an ice maker in our refrigerator and we drink a lot of iced tea. It makes enough ice to supplement our usage particularly in the summertime.
One thing I've learned is that if you do want to store the ice maker -- make sure that you leave it open to dry out completely -- and if you can store it with the lid open -- like an old refrigerator -- it avoids that mildew smell, which saves time when you want to use it again later.
In addition, it is lightweight enough to drain over a kitchen sink.
This was worth every penny!
great unit and company
this is a great unit and even better the company behind it. the first one was broken when it arrived. they let me ship it back but still sent a replacement. it's a very nice little compact guy. It's not for heavy loads or a large party but for a small home or small office it's perfect. I am very happy with my ice maker, its much better than the magic chef one
