Great Grill I purchased this grill for $750 plus $99 delivery ltl freight. The unit came mostly assembled and it took about an hour to put together. Deivery was great and all the way to my patio.
The stainless steel is mediocre, the weight (220 lbs) comes mostly from 2 large castings either side of the Grill see black items in picture and Grates for cooking are very very heavy duty.
Cooks great very even temperature throughout cooking surface. Heats up very very quickly, 10 minutes and over 500 deg F. I have this with Natural gas option with 1/2 in gas line going to unit.
I feel the gas orifices are a little light weight for this price of a grill, we will see how lon they last.
I wish there was some type of heavy duty side handle to manuever or move the grill. I had to place on a wooden deck and had no comfortable way to lift and place.
The cooking surface is smaller than I thought it would be, but as I thought back, I have never used the complete area of the grill.
Overall for the money I believe this is a premium grill higher quality than a Home Depot, Charbroil, Lowes etc typ grill. Time will tell how good a grill it is.
i would recommend this at a significant discount off list, I would not pay full list price. I believe there may be better grills to the higher cost sprectrum... Fire Magic, Thermador, Viking etc.
One other comment, the backlit knobs is rather gimmicky, the led light is a good idea, i am afraid it gets too hot to last, it would be nice if it had a flex base.
