In 1971 Louis Schelling made the first tide clock. Since then hundreds of thousands of Boaters, Surfers, Swimmers, Sailors and Fisherman have used the Tide Timer as a reliable and accurate way to predict the tide.
Tide Timers are recommended for most reliable use on the East Coast of the United States and Canada where tides are most predictable. Over the years many satisfied customers have found that the Tide Timer works effectively for them in areas of the West Coast when used with the special proprietary setting tables, or in other countries around the world. Tide Timers will not work in the Gulf of Mexico.
