Love the Ninja!
This is the best blender I've had. My husband wanted it because a guy at work recommended it. It blends ice and frozen fruit quickly and evenly.
Warning: Not meant for chunky salsa. I tried and ended up making salsa soup!
Yum!!
Made smoothies which were very smooth, had been using a blender, this machine is far superior. Also made peach yogurt, the blades did a great job on chopping the frozen peaches. The result was totally creamy and yummy. Have yet to try frozen ice to make snowcones.
Great when it works...
All I can say is I'm glad Amazon.com has GREAT customer service. I received two Ninjas. The first one didn't work at all. The second one went out as well. When it worked, it worked great. But, I like products that work with consistency. Oh, did I mention Amazon's customer service was great!
It is designed to break!
Plastic piece of the rotor and the shaft of the blade are made out of the nylon. The plastic parts don't last longer than few weeks of ocasional use - they wear off and the blades would not spin anymore.
What a piece of cr@p!
HORRIBLE- WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY
Got super excited seeing the commercial on TV. This product worked fine, even great for a month and then the white plastic part of the motor scraped, so did the top tip of the plastic portion of the blades and now it wont rotate. Just makes a screechy noise, heats up and I can smell plastic burning. Customer care is rubbish - thankfully I am within the return period and will return it ASAP. When I spoke to the customer care - they tried to talk me into keeping the product, and they would ship replacement motor. In a month. A MONTH!! and then when I refused that they had the audacity to tell me I am the only user that ever wanted to return this amazing item... That ticked me off.. Regret the money spent on shipping... DONT BUY!
